We took our time to find the perfect playset on Craigslist, and this one has so much to offer. It even has a rock wall (far side, in the picture)! The girls love it, though Olivia is still a little young to climb on it. We replaced one of the swings with her baby swing, and voila!
Now she can enjoy it, almost as much as Madeline does!
Madeline needs to grow a tad more before she's ready to do the monkey bars on her own.
It's great fun to see Madeline exploring, having picnics on the platform, calling to us from the "penthouse" (the upper level), and just being a kid.
The next change to happen is a new deck. We have to wait for the ground to dry a little more (it's raining sooo much!), but in the meantime I decided to let Madeline have fun painting. Friends of ours let their little one paint the deck, and then allowed the rain to wash it away. Since we're going to be tearing ours down very soon, I figured it didn't matter what washed clean and what didn't! Madeline declared that the deck needed to be yellow. JUST yellow.
I tried to sneak some alphabet letters, or her name, or some hearts, but she would get upset unless she was allowed to paint over them. Oh well!
After a little while, she got bored with it and started painting her favorite thing: rocks!
That playset looks awesome!! They should be able to use it for a long time. :)
