A month ago we had a little bit of snow, so we took Madeline outside to enjoy it. I'm glad we did it then, rather than wait ("There will be lots of chances!") because we've only had a few light dustings of snow since then! Anyway, as promised, here are two videos from that occasion. (As a disclaimer, they're not very eventful, but I know Grandmas will want to see them) :)

She handled walking in the snow pretty well, especially considering the boots were two sizes too big! (They don't come any smaller, I've looked!)
A little while back, we received a generous gift from Caleb's Grandmother. We used it to complete a few projects around the house as well as find an indoor "activity gym" for Madeline. It's cold outside these days (even if there is little to no snow) and she gets sick everytime she plays at the mall playplace, but she has sooo much energy! Answer: this slide! There are many times during the day when she'll walk over to the stairs and ask "Slide! Slide!" (the slide is in the basement). It's such a joy for her, and a relief for this tired mama!
