This morning, Madeline was sitting in her highchair eating some fruit and veggie melts (her absolute favorite now, even more so than yogurt). I tried to teach her "yummy" again, since repetition is key to learning new words.
Me: Yummy!
Her: Yucky.
Me: Yummy!
Her: Yucky.
Me: Yummmmmmm!
Her: (pause) Quack, quack, quack.
I guess she decided that since she couldn't figure out how to say it, she'd go with something she knows!
