At some point Christmas morning, Caleb and I realized that Santa must own stock in Disney, or just use their store (MOA has a fun one...), because ALL of the toys from him were Disney!
(Elsa doll, and Doc McStuffins doctor coat and kit for Madeline; Minnie Mouse couch, and Ariel doll for Olivia)
She was VERY happy with her new doll!
Olivia spent a lot of time on her sofa! Sooo comfy. Plus, here she's modeling her new headphones (she'll need those for our get-away-from-the-snow-trip coming soon)!
Oh yeah, and Madeline got Elsa shoes in her stocking. She immediately ran and put on her whole costume (dress, cape, crown, necklace) so she could show off her shoes!
Olivia's sofa flips open to be a little bed. She LOVES to lay down in it! Here she is snuggling with the gift from my mom - a cuddly blanket and stuffed owl. (She is really into owls, go figure!) It turns out, too, that the sofa is great for travel. It's small and compact, but can be brought out for naptime when you're away from the hotel.
The Saturday after Christmas we packed the kids (and my mom) into the van and drove to WI for a visit. We saw both of my grandmas, as well as several of my aunts, uncles, and cousins, and even spent part of two days with my sister Katherine, her husband Curt, and my brother David. We had a belated Christmas celebration with each of them, and the girls thoroughly enjoyed being loved on by so many people!
Madeline did a workbook with Great-Grandma Emily, and got to show off everything she knows! Great-Grandma was very impressed!
HOW did they know Olivia would like bracelets? (Sorry, I can't remember if this was from Curt and Katherine or from David!) These are still a favorite, for both our kids. I mean, I swear I pick these up off the living room floor at least daily....
Once again we were too busy visiting to remember to take many pictures, but it was wonderful to see everyone! Merry Christmas, and God bless!
And here, for your (random) viewing pleasure, are our little ballerinas:
