(Last) First Day of Preschool!

Madeline started her second (and last) year of preschool! 

She's going Tu/Th mornings again, at the same school near our church, and even has many of the same classmates from last year! This summer together has been great, but I know she was eager to be around kids her own age again. And the best part? When I picked her up, she asked when she can come back! She even had more patience with her sister the rest of the day. We love our (growing) peanut, and we're so proud of her!

We've been experiencing a bit of a cold snap (we wake up to upper 40s-low 50s outside), so we opted for warmer clothes and a picture inside (as opposed to last year, when she wore a t-shirt and shorts and stood out by the bench for her picture).

Olivia has noticed her absence, too. She became quite concerned today that we were walking out to the van without her big sister! "Ya ya? Ya ya? Mama! Ya ya!" (Ya ya is Madeline) She's fighting off a nasty cold and ear infection at the moment, so she won't get to really enjoy the perks of being the only kid at home, not just yet.
