At the end of January, Madeline and Olivia hit some milestones (3 1/2 yrs and 15 months, respectively). To document what they've been doing, I thought I'd write these "interviews"
Madeline's 3 1/2 Year-Old Interview
Favorite Color(s): Pink & purple
Favorite Toy(s): My Little Ponies (right now it's Twilight Sparkle), and of course princesses!
Favorite Pastimes: Playing dress-up (multiple costumes each day!), jumping on the trampoline, playing with play-doh and other crafts (especially painting), and rough-housing with Daddy!
Least Favorite Activities: Having her picture taken... (I have sooo many blurry pictures of her turning her head or putting her hands in front of her face)
Friends: Reese and Meara in the neighborhood, and Anna, Sophia, and Stella at school
Favorite Foods: "Daddy yogurt" (Yo Crunch with M&Ms)
Height: about 35.75" or 36" I think? (about 5th%)
Weight: 30.5 lbs (27th%)
What She's Teaching Mommy & Daddy: The joys (and challenges) of parenting a spirited child!
Olivia's 15-Month Interview
Favorite Toy(s): purses, musical toys (especially the Playskool Rocktivity Center she got for Christmas), dolls, and just about anything that Madeline has in her hands
Favorite Pastimes: Eating is by far her favorite activity! Her appetite is insatiable - we're only kind of joking when we say the only reason she stops eating is because she's bored with it.
Least Favorite Activity: ...Caleb, can you think of any? I'm at a loss! (other than "hearing 'no'")
Favorite Foods: Any kind of cheese noodles, sliced ham, sausage, vanilla wafers, pickles, and most yogurts (the list goes on, but those are the favs)
Newest Skills: Cruising along furniture
What's Coming Up: Walking by herself! (Note: she took 3-4 steps on Feb 15th!) And dropping that last 3 or 4am bottle (she officially stopped at the end of Feb, when we took our trip)
Length: 30" (37th%)
Weight: 24.5 lbs (75th%) (it's no wonder, she loves to eat and has quite the cute belly!)
Head Circumference: 19"(97th%)
Budding Personality Traits: She can still be quite stubborn (like refusing juice in a bottle or milk in a sippy cup - it has to be the other way around). She's genuinely happy most of the time, and still loves to smile at people (and ham it up, too!). She's independent, and a bit sensitive to too much noise/chaos (being around noisy kids who are running around makes her whimper and clutch Mommy or Daddy).
