Well, with the end of summer comes the beginning of PRESCHOOL!
On September 12th our little peanut started going to Preschool! She was super excited for her first day.
"Can we go now, Mom?"
She goes twice a week for two and a half hours each time. She's had no problems with separation, although sometimes by the end of "class" she's been tired, worn out, and kind of "done" listening and following directions. Totally understandable, and a little TLC helps her mood bounce right back. As an added bonus, she has always napped on preschool days, too (she doesn't always sleep at naptime these days).

Crayons. (Yes, apparently my child just wants to make art creations... No surprise there!)
We also got a call yesterday from her teacher. She left a message just letting us know, "We are really enjoying having Madeline in our class. She is so sweet and happy, and just so kind!" Then she briefly described her day running around and holding hands with two friends Anna and Sophia. I LOVED getting that message! We're so blessed that she loves her school so much (and I'm grateful for the time with just one kiddo at home!).
