Half Birthday

Our sweet Olivia is SIX MONTHS OLD!! (Can you hear the disbelief in that?)

Favorite Pasttimes: Standing, chewing on anything
Least Favorite Activities: Drinking from a bottle, being put down for nap or bedtime, and she's not too keen on sitting
Favorite Toy: An all-fabric baby doll (pictures to come soon), but especially her links! (Remember the little ring-things that lock into each other? Those.)
Newest Skills: We've realized that she waves to people, as well as flaps her arm to sign "milk." She understands a few other things in sign language. She gives kisses (grabs you tightly and presses her open mouth against your neck), asks for kisses (offers her forehead for a kiss, and won't move it until you kiss her!), and occasionally gives hugs.
What's Coming Up: Trying baby food! And perhaps budding teeth in a few months?

Weight: 39th% (15.5 lbs! Sooo heavy in her carseat!!)
Head Circumference: 93rd% (She's got to house that brilliant mind somewhere!)
Budding Personality Traits: She's stubborn!She's inquisitive (especially about anything you have in your hands); she's becoming more and more social (like waving and smiling all the time, and wanting to be a part of whatever is going on); and she's still a total sweetheart (while big sister has a "wild child" attitude, Olivia is more reserved and just wants to smile and coo at you).


I wish we could bottle up this babyhood, but we're definitely enjoying it while we can!
